*Mavs cut Harvey Grant, Dee Brown, Loy Vaught before the deal.
Warriors Get: Chris Webber Joe Johnson
Mavericks Get: Tyson Chandler John Salmons Sharone Wright Vet. FA Hawks 2003 First Warriors 2003 First
I accept, Webber has like no value now so w/e. Chandler is only 19, looks like he is going to be a great anchor for my team. I like JJ, but I also like Salmons, he is only a rookie and almost has the same scoring ratings as JJ and has much better defense. And two firsts in a good draft. DAMON, ROBERTS AND SMITH NEED TO GO NEXT.

Bumping this because it's bigger than my owed pick trade.
Nice deal both sides.

At the risk of sounding bitter (which I'm not), why are they getting Joe Johnson as well? Hilarious imo

He didn't look that great last night.
Oh wait, that was in real life.

Warriors get the two best players, so Warriors win easily.
Tyson has nice ratings, but he can't block shots and he can't score. Pretty bad for a 7 footer.

Would much rather have a rookie with B- B C+ B ratings over a second year guy with B B C+ C ratings(at SG). Like no one wanted Webber, it came down to basically two offers and I decided to go with 2 firsts and the younger guy. Webber is a loser anyway.

If you didn't give up JJ, this deal would have been solid. But when you give up JJ, who is about the same to Tyson in terms of value, then you pretty much defeat the purpose of this trade, and Warriors win big.

Joe Johnson has the more familiar name. But Salmons has been through one less TC and already looks better.

Having the league file > Not having the league file Tyson's output is pretty nasty compared to JJ. Obviously he has the D, but put JJ in my offense, and he makes Kobe look bad defensively.
