In all honesty, if I landed Bron or Wade, this would've been the first offer I would've made. I mean both will be top players in this league, but neither will reach Preira's level. Why go for the long ass rebuild when you can do it in one year? But what are the chances you would accept bron or wade + expirings for EP with hardly any other pieces involved? I would do that

Of course, but chances are that a rebuilding team with the type of talent you are looking for in return isn't ready to compete even with Preira on board. That, and the fact that you will never get fair value for him. Unless you bring in Kobe, and perhaps Wade/LeBron depending on what they do in their TCs In all honesty, if I landed Bron or Wade, this would've been the first offer I would've made. I mean both will be top players in this league, but neither will reach Preira's level. Why go for the long ass rebuild when you can do it in one year? I sold a lot of players short on that list, I forgot about McGrady, Captain Jackson, etc etc Anyway, yea rebuilding sucks. That's kinda why I tried to hard to get Billups this off-season. Thing is, he's only 26, which fits what I'm trying to do. Preira is a monster but I really don't think it would be wise for me to move LeBron for him... Age wise, and the fact that I don't have the appropriate depth. I'm sure others have the same sentiments, which is why you are only getting offered 2nd rate youth for him

Oh, I thought you had them matched up at the 2... Damn. That would have been nasty if so Yeah but it didn't seem right. I had Maxwell there because although he lost a lot of his offensive game, he's still a top tier defender in this league. To be fair he didn't do a bad job, just not a great one. Not saying we would've won with Preira at the 2 though anyway. Heat seemed to have our numbers in the regular season as well as the postseason. Maxwell at the 3 would have been interesting, but i understand why you did what you did. EP taking advantage of Mercer's lack of D.

Unless you bring in Kobe, and perhaps Wade/LeBron depending on what they do in their TCs Plus you are probably asking for that teams main trading pieces, so the chance that they can get good players to surround EP without those players would be highly unlikely. I disagree. I'm not asking for all their pieces though, just one main one, and that's really really good value for them. If you could trade Bron or Wade for Preira straight up for example, surely the team getting Preira wins out, meaning the rest of their team can be moved for other pieces to make the team more competitive. I don't see how anyone could turn that down.
