Broph, if you are a Texas fan...Texas's SOS is 41st. Florida's is 20th. Texas has played no one. so Texas sucks if you want to go that route. Watching Colt screw up over and over again was not good defense if you want to go that route. SEC>Big 12. Doesn't seem like you know a whole lot about CF. Not even close to a Texas fan

Didn't the pac-10 win two straight titles before that game? Did they play Texas? What happened when they did? They played Oklahoma and won.

Just making a point that we have no clue how good any of these teams are....but, Nebraska has a better Defense than Alabama, how many teams could turn it over 8 times in a game, and yet only give up 9 points...no matter who the opponent. Suh is the BEST Player in college football, which is what the Heisman is supposed to be awarded to, but meh, its an offensive award anyway...and the SEC is not nearly as good as you want us to believe it is....

Look, Alabama looked hella impressive and will rightfully be #1 in the nation and favored in the NC game. Anything can happen in CFB, but this anything can happen isn't some unranked team beating USC or something like that. Texas has been #2 - #3 all year long, has one of the best offenses in the league (certainly better than Florida's) and has a top 15 defense. No way Alabama is going to roll over Texas in the big stage. That doesn't happen to Texas. It will be a fight.
USC was the resounding #1 and favorite all year long, and look what happened. Texas will not be going down easy.

Nobody has proved anything yet....Big 12 is down, and the SEC isn't great this year, and explain how you are for sure the best conference in college football, cause the way I see it....Florida just got exposed, and your biggest argument to being the best was Florida and bama being so great Notable Out of Conference wins for the SEC Bama over Va Tech Auburn over West Virginia South Carolina over Clemson That is IT...

Imagine when they face a real team like Bama. It's over

Texas does have a very good offense, but it is rather one dimensional. I agree, Alabama won't kill Texas. But no one expected Alabama to dismantle Florida like that. Texas just hasn't seen a defense quite like Alabama's, Nebraska is the closest thing and you guys struggled. And you haven't really seen an offense like ours either.

Nick has been game planning for Florida since last year, they just weren't ready. The SEC has like 7 or 8 defenses ranked in the top 35. The speed in the SEC on defense is just a notch above any other conference.

Don't people remember that Florida won the NC last year and they didn't lose many pieces(besides Harvin).
