I agree. AK is a great player but he is expiring and I'm not sure if I want to give him a huge amount of money when I am rebuilding. I get two picks and gamble the sonics will suck in 2008 and 2009 since they have some expiring this year to deal with.

AK is a stud but the Sonics are simply prolonging their rebuild right now, which practically spells mediocrity.
