This would be awesome though, Davies is a big scorer on this team.
Honestly though, I think getting Onweyu back in time is more important. Our D ain't the same without him.

Well I remember watching the Costa Rica match and he hurt his knee really badly. I'm not sure if he's still out because of that but after reading this I assumed he was still injured: www.majorleaguesoccertalk.com/us-1-honduras-3-as-bob-bradley-looks-to-fill-some-holes/7988 With Charlie Davis all but ruled out this summer, Clint Dempsey and Oguchi Onyewu out of action until Easter, questions about who the right partner for Michael Bradley is in the middle, and a left back position that still seems up for grabs, this was a chance for a number of players to make a case for themselves.

Onyewu's injury was pretty bad. It looked like he dislocated his knee when it happened. The pitch was wet and his leg twisted while he was chasing down a ball. He's been rehabbing with Charlie so hopefully all of them are back in shape by the world cup.

The injury was a Patella Tendon Rupture...

Dempsey is 90% certain to play.
Onyewu and Davies are still 50/50.

The fact that Davies could join Schoaux as early as April is truly amazing... even if he is ready for the World Cup I'd be concerned about match fitness... being back by April would resolve that problem.
