These notes are on guys not with individual profiles.
Centers
Sean Rooks is probably the best guy outside of the profiled fellows. He can score inside and defend pretty well. He'll need some work on rebounding, but he should be a starter in the future.
Elmore Spencer will be a solid selection for those looking for some defensive presence. He is a good shot-blocker and positional defender. He's close to C+ Rebounding than C-, so he could be a solid back-up soon.
Gheorghe Muresan is another early entrant in this year's draft class. He's huge. You're not going to find a bigger guy to clog the lane, but he's raw. Definitely a project. He can defend pretty well, but everything else is shakey. Upside is questionable.
Marcus Webb is a bit undersized, but he can score the ball. He has the ability to put up 18-20 a night. However, that's just about it. Has no defensive skill whatsoever. He's a solid rebounder, could be a 20/8 guy if given starter minutes. Potential is very questionable, many say he's peaked already.
Melvin Robinson has good size and can D up. He's a good rebounder, but a terrible scorer. His potential is questionable, but he should be a solid back-up at the next level.
Power Forwards
P.J. Brown is definitely the top player of the group. Good size and great defense, Brown will immediately contribute. He's a solid scorer/rebounder, but his upside is 50/50 amongst scouts. Some say he can be a pretty good starter in the future, while others say he'll be a great back-up.
Clarence Weatherspoon reminds me a bit of Charles Barkley, but then I realized he's not. What Barkley does, Spoon does about half as good, which isn't bad, but don't expect him to be the next Barkley. Spoon can score and rebound, but don't count on him for defense. Should be a great back-up, but can definitely be a starter some day.
Troy King may be worth taking a risk on. He's young and raw, but some scouts feel he can become a starter in the future. He's a capable scorer, and a solid defender.
Popeye Jones may not be the best looking guy in the world, but he can definitely contribute on the court. An excellent rebounder, Popeye should come in and contribute immediately. He should be a solid back-up for his career.
Oliver Miller is a big guy. Lots of strength. A good scorer and defender, there will be a team to take a chance on him, despite his questionable potential.
Small Forwards
Walt Williams is a guy that hasn't been talked about around here, but he could surprise some people. A very good scorer, and solid defender, Williams should come in and fill a hole at SF for a team out there. Definitely going to be a good starter one day.
Tracy Murray is an interesting player. A good shooter and solid defender, he should impress a few teams, but what will tickle some fancies is his upside. A lot of scouts think he has what it takes to excel at the next level.
Malik Sealy is a PF in a SF's body that can't rebound. However, he can score and defend pretty well, so he should be able to contribute as a role-player one day.
Anthony Cade doesn't do anything impressively, but he's solid all-around. He's a project, without a doubt. However, his young age and solid game may attract a few suitors.
Dave Johnson can finish at the rim, but that's about it. He's not a good shooter, and doesn't rebound well. He can play some defense though, so he'll get a look from a few teams.
Shooting Guards
Doug Christie has been impressing scouts for awhile now. His defensive ability and good work ethic should see him going pretty high in the draft. While he probably won't be great, he'll definitely be a crucial starter in the league one day.
Todd Day can't play any defense, but what he can do is coveted. He can score. Day should bring instant offense off the bench for a team. He's boom or bust type, though, some say his best days are behind him.
Anthony Peeler has a great all-around game. A good scorer, ball-handler, and defender, Peeler will find a home for a team and contribute right away. His upside isn't too high, but he'll be a good back-up.
Jon Barry will be a sharpshooter for a team one day. He can hit the three with ease, and handle the ball a bit. Should be a nice combo-guard back-up.
David Wesley is another combo-guard type. Has the strength to guard bigger 2s but will probably see some time at the point as well. He can shoot, distribute, and defend. Though it's questionable how his game will translate to the next level, he could possibly become a starter some day.
Point Guards
Lee Mayberry tops out an intriguing PG class. Mayberry will do exactly what you need from him. He'll command the floor, hit the open jumper, and play a bit of defense. He could be a starter some day.
Brent Price can lead the floor and hit the three, but he can't play defense one bit. However, his ballhandling and passing ability should get him some looks from teams. His upside is in question, though. Probably a good back-up.
Tony Bennett is another guy that lacks in the defense department; however, he makes up for it in scoring. Bennett is probably one of the best shooters in the class, and can finish around the rim as well. His quickness will give other teams problems.
Darrick Martin is pretty solid all-around. Can shoot, handle the rock, pass, and play his man. Won't gamble for steals, though. He should be a good back-up in the future.
Duane Cooper may be lightning quick, but his court-vision is terrible. Needs a lot of work. However, he is a solid shooter and a great defender. He'll probably become a good combo-guard back-up. Should be work taking late.
