Bibby isn't performing well this year really, but not a good deal for Houston It's the settings. He was a 25 ppg scorer the year before, he still has it in him. This is a horrible deal for Houston. They should have waited until the offseason/start of next season to ship him off. They get expirings, a bad 4 year contract (yes he is a rookie but he sucks) and a late first for one of the top pg's in the game?

Didn't look at his past years, but whatever. I get room for a second max and having him around certainly wasn't helping my tanking. I'd be shocked if the tempo really affected his PPG that much. Regardless, he was a first option scoring less than 20 a game. That's a problem for me.

I have a feeling Kru is gonna flip him And either get another stud and a pick or get multiple picks out of it. Houston sucked with him on the team before, they could have done it still and gotten a top pick.

How do you not look at the past years of your players to gauge how good they are?

Fuck no. I've been here before. I didn't want to wait around on your assholes to get your offers in cause waiting like this has bitten me in the ass so much before. It's right before the trade deadline, so fuck it. The best I was getting for him was straight expirings. What's in it for me to hold onto him? Possibly winning more games and having less cap room. Sounds cool to me.
I realize I don't get great or even good value, but it's something I needed to do.

Sometimes you need to make trades when you know you are losing out.
