Overview: Scout.com rated Hawes 4th overall and the 2nd center prospect in his High School class. Hawes also was selected as an Associated Press All-American, McDonalds All-American, Parade Magazine All-American and USA Today All-American. Hawes also set a Washington school record with 461 points as a freshman.
Strengths: Pretty solid two way player. Can score some and rebound some. Pretty athletic for his size. Has nice range on his jump shot.
Weaknesses: Not great at anything. Isn’t a big time post scorer, or a monster defender or rebounder. Just solid all around. Boom or Bust!
