Overview: Andrew Bynum is a huge young man standing 7-0 and weighing in at 285 pounds. Bynum considered jumping to UOSLR right out of High School but decided to go to college instead. Scout.com rated Bynum 9th overall and the top center prospect in his High School class. Bynum is currently 20 years old and is completing his junior year in college.
Strengths: Bynum is a very raw player, but he has very good size and athleticism. He has a decent post game and is a good FT shooter. He is a good shot blocker and rebounder. Bynum should be a top tier type center with his offensively ability and great size.
Weaknesses: He tends to foul too much which limits his minutes. He isn’t the best post defender because he tends to always go for the block. He bites on jump fakes a lot.
