dont think anyone has even seen this trade hehe.
anyway ... for me, the reason I did the trade was because I'm tired of rebuilding. Griffin is an all around contributor, and together with JSmoove they can provide an extremely versatile SF/PF combo.
He is only 26 and I know what I'm getting from him.
Don't like to lose Beasley, but you gotto give to get. Everything else in the trade was a thrown in. I F'd up on Martin, he absolutely blows.
would love to sneak into the playoffs and try an upset bid

No one ever comments on my trades not to worry. However this is a pretty big deal in my opinion and does deserve some attention.

Honestly I figured that Griffin would cost more Well he was on the block for over a year and not many teams who could match or give me what I was looking for. Beasley has some promise and I get a future consideration too.

yeah but with how much you liked Griffin I figured you would keep him rather than trade him for a middling prospect and a 1st that won't be much most likely....Beasley had a nice first TC but a meh latest one

I love Eddie Griffin just as I loved Ray Allen and Antonio McDyess. However I'm here to run a franchise and having a player who is 26 and would be an expiring contract next season would diminish his trade value and also cripple my cap space situation. The time was now to deal him and I couldn't make that widely known either.
Beasley has yet to see any IT love and I will certainly give him that. I think I have two extremely talented all around players in Williams and Beasley.
