Like it a bit more for Mavs just cuz I didn't think Dice could get the Mavs a decent first like they got. But if the Rox can pick it up and start winning by next year, then it's good for both.

This trade would have been equally good about 20-30 days ago for each team. Would have allowed the Rockets to get into the playoffs in addition to giving the Mavericks a chance to part ways with Bibby and any others he could have acquired future considerations for their team. |

Putting your rebuild on hold for a season to spite me gets you no where. puttng his rebuild on hold a year to reset his contract year though is just fine...this deal would have made no sense for the Mavericks 20-30 days ago, since he could get it done now.... |
