Argentina has yet to be truly tested, and Mexico put a lot of pressure on Messi and showed that it really limits Argentina's offensive opportunities. Who knows how that game would have gone had they not blown that offsides call? Mexico doesn't even have a good defense. Germany is very creative with Ozil, who's been playing amazing. Germany is going to put a lot of pressue on Argentina's back line, and Germany has one of the scariest counter-attacks in the World Cup so far. I could seriously see Schweinsteiger controlling the game like he did vs. England. |

Germany aren't great defensively. Their DM is probably the most attacking minded DM in the whole tournament which will cause them problems especially against Argentina IMO.

I know they aren't great defensively, my point was just bottling up Messi really limited Argentina's chances against Mexico, a subpar defensive squad. |

Agreed that they are average defensively. Cannot wait for it tbh, should be an incredible game. I'm thinking 2-2 or something and then down to penalties. Not sure who I want to win though, hate both countries.
