um the fifa rankings are dumb because it's based off a team's performance in the past 4 years... so a team that could be doing incredibly well in the past two years probably could be very low in the rankings if they had a poor 3rd and 4th year

Yes. They had a REALLY bad squad and coach. Heaps of players who should have been picked were left at home. Uruguay have had an EASY run in. They played a French team that was in shambles, Mexico and South Africa ffs. Then they got South Korea in the round of 16 and now have Ghana who are fucking shit house.

It doesn't matter. Ie. Croatia aren't even IN the WC but they are a better team than 60% of those who are in it.

Your mentality is that of an American, Martinez. Surprised your not grasping onto USA's top 10 ranking a few years ago and claiming they are world beaters.
Croatia are better than half of the WC field. They just had a bad qualifying campaign, losing out to a very inform England squad (who killed qualifying) and a good Ukrainian outfit who are also better than a lot of the teams in the WC.
By your logic, North Korea, New Zealand, South Africa etc are better than Ukraine, Croatia, Czech-Republic, Turkey and Russia?
