Question on handballs in the box. Even if the hand ball was unintentional but clearly hits your hand, which stopped a potential big play, would this be considered a callable hand ball? Just wondering cuz that German player today had an obvious hand ball but the ref shrugged it off because it seemed unintentional. Unintentional hand balls are not hand ball, but obviously refs can make mistakes and think it's intentional. At the same time there is a "ball-to-hand" ruling where if you just kick the ball at the opponent's hand or arm, it's not a hand ball as it's not intentional... so it's not just the case that if the ball touches your hand or arm it's immediately deemed as a hand ball. All is up to ref's interpretations though. I think the German player also had his hands in his chest so it's not a handball. |

Good Morning all, we got our 1st point ever in the World Cup!!  I thought we were down and out but when Nelson finally told the guys to go forward and not play in our own half it paid off!!! wooohoooo Mind you the Slovakian scorer looked like he was offside!! |

Slovakian scorer was EASILY off-side! Well done NZ! Watched the match definitely routing for my cross-Tasman friends and did go spare when Winston scored! He was brilliant all game I thought, put in a few game saving tackles and ran for the full 90.
Ronaldo is a diving faggot.
Korea took it to Brazil. A very disciplined and well organised team they are. Maicon's goal was ridiculous though!
