He has been really poor lately, I think Pim will go with form for the first game. Or that could just be me not wanting him to start out of frustration!
On a more serious (and English) note, do you really think Capello will play with Rooney and Crouch up-front? Also, Capello has signed on until the end of 2012. Good news right before the start of the tournament.

I wouldn't be surprised. I mean, his goalscoring record for England is actually scarily good... He's going to cause trouble for other teams especially in set piece situations, and he can be a target man for long balls where he can lay it off to Rooney. Like I've always said, the key is Rooney, so partner him with whoever can get him the ball in the right situations. Defoe may be more talented a striker than Crouch, but he won't make Rooney better. Heskey and Crouch both could though and I think Capello will switch between both in the group stages to see what works.
