Quick mock for James...excuse any errors..This mock is based mostly on NEEDS. Please use your own brain and select whatever player is best for your team. Take this mock with a grain of salt.
1. Los Angeles Lakers - Fab Melo C 7'0" 274 21 B D- D B B A
-Lakers could potentially have a very dominant front court...Melo gives the Lake Show much needed size up front. He will start right away.
2. Dallas Mavericks - Jonas Valanciunas C 6'11" 260 20 B C+ C C+ B A
-Mavs GM loves Austin Rivers so he could be an option here but it would be hard for the Mavs to pass on Jonas. Valanciunas has a variety of offensive moves and is very mobile for someone his size.
3. Charlotte Hornets - Austin Rivers PG 6'4" 175 20 C+ B C+ B C- A
-Hornets desperately need a franchise PG. Rivers potentially could fill the void. Rivers is more of a combo guard but he has worked very hard on his point guard skills since declaring.
4. Detroit Pistons - Tomas Satoransky SG 6'6" 190 20 B- B- B- C C A
-Detroit needs help at several positions. Satoransky is one of the better players left and could potentially step right in and contribute.
5. Washington Bullets - Jordan Price SG 6'6" 215 18 A- C C B C A
-Risky pick by the Bullets but it could pay off. Depending on the GM Price could go as high as #1. Price could turn out to be the best player from this draft, when its all said and done. His immaturity could hold him back.
6. San Antonio Spurs - Tobias Harris PF 6'10" 234 21 B C C C+ B- B
-Harris should start right away for the Spurs and give them much needed size up front.
7. Memphis Grizzlies - Rodney Williams SF 6'7" 200 21 B- C+ C- B- C- A
-Memphis will take a chance on Williams and hope that he lives up to his potential
8. New York Knicks - Quinn Cook PG 5'11" 155 20 C C B+ B+ D+ B
-Cook could go a lot higher if any of the teams out there want a pass first, low turnover point guard. New York should be thrilled with this selection.
9. Utah Jazz - Quincy Miller PF 6'10" 225 20 B- C- B C C+ A
-Miller is one of the better players left on the board. Utah could go with Yarou here as well
10. Sacramento Kings - Mouphtaou Yarou PF 6'9" 240 22 B- D D- B+ C+ B
-Yarou will play right away in Sacramento and help them contend for a playoff spot.
11. Washington Bullets - D.J. Richardson SG 6'3" 200 22 C+ B- C B+ C- B
-Washington is very thin on the wings. Richardson gives the Wizards a player that can step right in and play.
12. Phoenix Suns - Delvon Roe SF 6'7" 220 23 C+ C+ D+ B+ C B
-With Odom gone the Suns will look to draft a replacement.
13. Toronto Raptors - Dominic Cheek SG 6'6" 185 21 C+ B- D+ B- C- B
-Raptors are set up front and at small forward..Cheek makes a lot of sense at this pick.
