Strengths:[/u] Davis is a talented shooting SF that gives other teams trouble with his length. He's a very good shooter from anywhere on the court, and he also has some good post moves. On the defensive end, he is a great man defender and will stay in front of his guy no matter what. He runs the floor very well and often times would play entire games for Cincinnati. Overall he's a pretty well-rounded player on the offensive and defensive sides of the court. Weaknesses:[/u] He is a below average rebounder, which is frustrating for a SF. He doesn't have the speed to keep up with SGs, so he's a no-go there. Doesn't create turnovers, which is disappointing for a player with his length. Needs to bulk up a little more to make him more imposing on the inside. Right now he's pretty much an outside threat only. Scout's Take:[/u] Davis is one of the more UOSLR-ready players that will be coming out. That scares away some teams because they worry he's reaching his peak, but the fact that he is still really young and considered at the point of UOSLR-ready could mean he's actually just a star ready to explode. We'll see what happens if he decides to stay in school for another year or two. Comparison:[/u] Josh Howard Ratings:[/u] Devin Davis SF 6'8'' 220 20 C+ B C B- C- A Cincinnati So.
