Deng is a 90+% FT shooter, and has B+ inside, 20 points 8 rebounds is a nice player

Deng is a 90+% FT shooter, and has B+ inside, 20 points 8 rebounds is a nice player I like Deng and I was going to inquire about him however to give up Burks (23 yrs old with upgrades available) + 2 picks which I consider to be sorta valuable looking at the Celtics roster is very expensive price to pay. The Celtics should have shopped Burks + 2 firsts around the league a little more and I'm sure they could have found something better than Deng. |

ib just got his firsts back and he just made his CY. This would have been the perfect year to start rebuilding properly. The east is tough I wouldn't be surprised if both of those firsts were lotto. Deng is good but he doesn't guarantee playoff berths for the Celtics and even if they do make the playoffs.. they'll just be getting smashed in the 1st round. Mediocrity ain't cool. Trust me I know

it is a positive deal for Tiger no doubt, but I am not as high on Burks as you guys, though Tiger is pretty good at pimping players, so he could be good

It's more about the picks to me. Boston should be rebuilding right now, not trying to winning 40-45 games. Burk could be good though

B-,A,C-,A-,C- is pretty attractive. |

The Celtics will be mediocre the first season he has his pick. AK, Deng, and Nene will do fairly well and they are all proven. It's just now the Celtics will have to fight for their lives to maintain mediocrity instead of looking to build a real consistent winner. |
