Strengths:[/u] Harris is a lock-down defender that can stretch the floor with his outside shooting. He shows ability to drive to the basket, but usually prefers to play on the perimeter. He makes it a point to guard the other team's best scorer. He has quick hands and feet. He has been described as having a high basketball IQ.
Weaknesses:[/u] He isn't a very consistent scorer. Athletically, he's nothing to brag about and he could probably use some more time working on his game. Needs to work on his strength for the next level.
Scout's Take:[/u] Gary Harris is a hard-working guard out of Indiana that many teams would be glad to have off the bench, maybe even starting in a few years. He is going to be a great defender and could grow into an outside shooting threat. Though his ceiling isn't as high as some of the other guards out there, his game will always have a use.
