Strengths:[/u] Foster is a mean scorer in the paint. He really knows how to use his size to his advantage. He is a powerful finisher and has a plethora of offensive go-to moves. He is also a very capable rebounder on both ends of the floor. He a good man defender, capable of using his size well to keep his opponent out of position. He is a very strong big man. Weaknesses:[/u] Foster is not an explosive athlete nor does he have the natural timing needed to be an effective shot-blockers. Definitely needs to improve his decision-making. He always looks to score first, but struggles with double teams. Scout's Take:[/u] Foster is young, but many believe he is getting close to his ceiling. However, his ceiling is still a great inside scorer and an impressive rebounder. He should definitely be an effective starter for years to come. Comparison:[/u] Chris Kaman Ratings:[/u] Alex Foster C 7'0'' 240 20 B C- D+ C+ B B Illinois So.
