Strengths:[/u] Shabazz is a scorer by nature. He is an impressive athlete who can finish inside or drain the outside shot. He is very creative with his shots, and loves to embarrass opponents. He played a lot of SF at the high school level and most of his collegiate career at Kansas, but many feel he could have similar, if not greater success at SG. He is incredibly quick. He gives defenders fits trying to keep up with him.
Weaknesses:[/u] Though he loves to create his own shots, he isn't a fan of creating too many for his teammates. Not by conscious choice, but just by the nature of his game. He's also a very sub-par defender. He gets pushed around by players the same size as he is, and of course those that are larger. He doesn't rebound very well, which could be an issue if he wants to be a more complete player.
Scout's Take:[/u] Muhammad has a bright future, no doubt, but the question is where his future will be? His speed causes match-up problems for opposing SFs on the offensive end, but he's a defensive liability no matter what position he's playing. Regardless, he has all the tools to become a great offensive player, and has a fire for the game that not many possess.
