Top FAs etc crap wtf whatever.
Centers
Rony Seikaly C 6'11'' 230 28 B C- D B+ A- C
- Possibly the best available Center in the market. Hopefuls are wishing he would leave Boston and settle with a new team. Great rebounder and decent defender, many teams will look at him to fill the needs at Center. Could be under the radar and won't sign til the 3th or 4th day of free agency.
Blair Rasmussen C 7'0'' 250 30 B C- D+ B B C
- Definitely being overlooked at the center position. Blair has a solid all around game but does not excel in any. At the age of 30, he may try to go to a championship contender and possibly try to win another ring. Blair may possibly leave Buffalo and sign for the MLE.
Andrew Lang C 6'11'' 239 27 C+ C- D+ A B C
- Still young at 27, Andrew Lang will possibly go to a team who offers the most money. He's a great defender and a solid rebounder. His offensive game is here and there but isn't really solid. Expect him to possibly resign with the Raptors as they continuously try to win the championship.
Michael Cage C 6'9'' 224 31 C C- C- A- B B
- Cage, Not a great defender but a solid one. Solid rebounder as well. Offensive game is not so great, many teams don't expect much production in the points category from him, though they hope he'd contribute in other ways such as the blocks, and rebounds category.
Other Notable Centers
John Shasky
Mike Gminski
Greg Foster
Eric Leckner
Power Forwards
Danny Manning PF 6'10'' 230 27 A- C- C A- B- B
- Danny Manning is probably one of the most sought after big man on the market. He has all around game, he can score inside, defend well in his position. He also is a decent rebounder. Many believe he still potential to improve, expect his agent to be very busy this offseason. Though rumors has it he is most likely resigning with his former team.
Larry Nance PF 6'10'' 205 34 B+ C- C A C+ D
- Nance another good veteran who is looking to compete with a championship team. At the age of 34 he doesn't have many chances to win one. He is a great defender and good post player. His agent belives he can still be of use for teams, and hopes to receive plenty of offers from many teams for his clients' services.
Clifford Robinson PF 6'10'' 225 26 B- C- C A- C+ A
- Not bad post player, can use a lot of improvements there. He's a solid defender, possibly 3-4 teams that may be interested in him. Some say he still has a lot of potential left and can become a solid player. Others say he hit the ceiling and you won't get much more from him. who knows. Rumors has it he's leaving Orlando.
Roy Tarpley PF 6'11'' 230 28 B C D- A- A B
- Another sought after power forward. He has superior rebounding skills and has defensive capabilities to defend the post. His offense is solid and can improve greatly with good training. Tarpley says he may be done in Seattle and wants to move on, though that's what he says. Could possibly be one of the first Free agents to leave his team and sign a big money contract with another.
Wayman Tisdale PF 6'9'' 240 29 A- C- D+ B C+ C
- Solid post scorer, not many teams find his defense or rebounding attractive. Expect some MLE offers from several teams but don't expect much more. Possibly resigning with the Clippers from that solid season they have had.
John Salley PF 6'11'' 230 29 B C- C- B+ C+ B
- Salley, great defender, though shaky rebounding skills. Has some good offensive skills but not great. Will most likely be overlooked by 29 teams and will probably sign on the 5th day of free agency.
Other Notable Power Forwards
Jerome Lane
Charles Oakley
Randy White
Adrian Caldwell
Anthony Cook
Small Forwards
Glen Rice SF 6'7'' 215 26 B A C+ B- C C
- Possibly the most wanted Free agent on the market. Lead his team singlehandedly to the playoffs. Many will offer the maximum allowed contracts. That many would probably consist of Boston, Buffalo, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Milwaukee, Dallas, Vancouver, Portland, Sacramento, and Glen's former team, the Pistons. However the Pistons and Rice's group aren't seeing eye to eye on the salaries. Detroit may want to use some of the salary to bring in help while Glen just wants to get paid. Who knows where this will bring us. Not to mention the rest of the league will also send out feelers for Glen as well.
Dennis Scott SF 6'8'' 229 25 B- A- C C+ C- C
- Great offensive capabilities, nothing much after that. Not a good defender or rebounder. Not a good player for his teammates. Though expect some teams to field some MLE offers to Scott's agent.
Tom Chambers SF 6'9'' 220 34 B+ C+ C B C+ C
- Great inside scorer. Shaky outside shooting and good rebounder at the SF position. At 34, he'll probably go and try to win. Though not many teams will go after him, so he'll probably want job security with a 3 year contract.
Sean Elliott SF 6'8'' 205 25 C+ B+ C+ B- C C
- Young player, some say great, some say nay. Sean Elliott could possibly be a steal in the free agent market, if he improves in training and works hard, they will have a solid player. Scouts say he's done and reached the ceiling already. Fans say he can still be great.
Reggie Williams SF 6'7'' 190 29 C+ B+ C B+ C D
- Solid defender and outside shooter. Maybe a team with low depth will pick him up.
Lionel Simmons SF 6'7'' 210 24 B C C+ A B C
Great defender and terrific rebounder at the small forward position. Definite inside scorer and can set up his teammates if need be. Has the skill sets of a great power forward but the frame of a SF. At the age of 24, you will see many teams going after him.
Other Notable Small Forwards
Matt Bullard
Willie Burton
Grant Long
Ed Pinckney
Larry Smith
Shooting Guards
Derek Harper SG 6'4'' 185 32 B- B A B+ D+ C
- #2 shooting guard available. Expect him to compete with Vernon Maxwell for a high paycheck. He's a solid defender and can be used as a PG. Solid offense but horrible rebounding. Aging at the age of 32 but can still compete with the top of the league. Expect about 4-5 serious offers from teams.
Vernon Maxwell SG 6'4'' 180 28 B- A- C+ A+ D+ C
- Might be the second most sought after free agent. His a competition between Maxwell and Manning. Maxwell has some serious defensive skills and scoring ability. He and the Dream has helped Washington make it into the playoffs for past years but could not win. Rumors has it he wants to be the man, and wants to be #1, there are teams that can make him #1. Lets see how this folds out, will he stay or will he go?
Kendall Gill SG 6'5'' 195 25 B C B B C B
- And then the talent level drops from Harper and Maxwell. Kendall Gill is a tweener at PG/SG, kind of too big for PG and kind of too small for SG. Still young and scouts say he has plenty of potential left in him. Certainly several teams may express interest come the big FA day.
Kevin Gamble SG 6'5'' 210 27 B+ C C B C- D
- Decent defender and good inside scoring for a SG. Some scouts say he will decline because of his lazy attitude. We will see. Not seeing many teams having interest in him.
Dana Barros SG 5'11'' 167 26 C A- C+ B C- B
- Capable of running point guard, and too small to play SG. Barros doesn't have that great of handling or passing ability to be a #1 PG on teams. Expect him to be a backup PG and certainly he will accept that role.
Other Notable Shooting Guards
Danny Ainge
Kenny Battle
Ledell Eackles
Jim Les
Liam Polynice
Point Guards
Mookie Blaylock PG 6'0'' 180 26 B- C+ A- A- C- C
- A lot of people expected Mookie to resign with the Suns. Mookie wanted to resign with the Suns, however they were slow to react to Mookie's desire to wanting to come back and Mookie threatened to test the market. However you may see Mookie resign with the Suns in a short time.
Muggsy Bogues PG 5'3'' 136 28 C C+ A+ A D+ B
Terrific PG abilities and great defender. He is definitely the smallest player in UOSLR. Some people from his camp says he wants to sign with the Charlotte Hornets. It's definitely a over saturated market for PGs.
Jay Humphries PG 6'3'' 185 31 C B+ A C+ D+ D
Solid PG abilities, can lead a team however his defensive skills aren't to part with some of the available PGs. Expect him to see some flak from teams, and not many will give him solid offers he wants. Most likely to resign with his former team.
Spud Webb PG 5'6'' 133 30 B- B- A- B D C
- Knicks fans booed as Spud tested for the FA market. Can definately compete against Muggsy Bogues but hardly anybody else in height. Average point guard at best, there are other solid PGs out there. The Knicks will try to make an offer to resign him.
Kenny Smith PG 6'3'' 170 28 C+ B+ A- A- D C
- People from his camp says he wants to play with his buddy Charles Barkley. However when looking at the team Charles is on, they have no room for Kenny. Good outside shooter and decent defender and PG. He'll yield some offers from teams.
Other Notable Point Guards
Huge list. Probably all if not most of the PGs that are not in the list.
Isiah Thomas
Brian Shaw
Gary Grant
Winston Garland
Sherman Douglas
Just to name a few.
