I'd imagine Houston has a great chance in terms of offering a good package, but they won't do a deal if they can't get Melo to sign an extension, so we'll see what happens. My guess is nothing goes down anytime soon.
I just don't see the Knicks trading for him. If anything, they'll outright sign him in the offseason, but it'd be silly for NYK to offer a good enough package that Denver would accept.

yeah, knicks would be wiser to hold off and attempt to sign him in FA if he "really wants to play in NY"
that way they dont have to give up gallo or chandler
