Strengths:[/u] Coger is a capable inside scorer. He is a strong, physical big man that loves to play with his opponent behind his back. He is a good man defender in the paint and has shown that he can stop penetrating guards from breaking down the interior defense. He is very calm and collected with the ball in his hands. His coaches have never doubted his decision-making. He has displayed good overall defensive discipline and effort on the floor. Weaknesses:[/u] Though a solid rebounder, he's still not quite at the level you'd want out of a starting big man. He isn't a shot-blocker by any stretch of the imagination, and isn't notably athletic. His jump shot is very spotty, and he struggles at the free throw line. Scout's Take:[/u] Coger is a strong, able-bodied big man that should become a good player at the next level. He's a bit raw, though, and scouts have questioned his motivation. Still, with proper attention, Coger should be a starter eventually. Ratings:[/u] Tyrek Coger C 6'11'' 275 22 B- C- D+ B- C+ A North Carolina Sr.
