Strengths:[/u] Nerlens Noels has scary length to him. He is a capable shot-blocker and rebounder who likes to use the full extent of his reach. He is a solid inside scorer who has a nice jump hook from inside the paint. He likes to keep his man in front of him, so he's usually in the best position defensively. He also has decent quickness for his size. Weaknesses:[/u] His slight frame worries scouts because he isn't a finesse player. He plays like a C yet doesn't have anywhere near the strength to compete with top C talent at the next level. He is indecisive at times and only an average athlete. His free throw shooting needs work, and don't expect much else from him in terms of shooting. Scout's Take:[/u] Noels has a quiet confidence about him. Scouts love the way he plays and feel like he could be a good starter in the league. It's questionable if he can be a star, but with some attention from his team, it isn't out of the picture. Ratings:[/u] Nerlens Noels PF 6'11'' 220 22 C+ C- C- B- B- A North Carolina Sr.
