Strengths:[/u] Brian McNeal can score from anywhere on the court. He can finish strong on the inside, or he can step out and hit the three. He is an effective slasher and an impressive athlete. Defensively, he will gamble for steals quite often. He is a very quick guard capable of keeping up with almost any shooting guard and some point guards. He is also a capable rebounder on the offensive end. Weaknesses:[/u] He needs to work on his ball control and learn to involve his teammates. Oftentimes he finds himself out of position defensively on the perimeter. He definitely needs to bulk up a bit to keep up with the stronger shooting guards. Scout's Take:[/u] McNeal is probably the most UOSLR ready player in the entire draft. The nation's most oustanding player in college, McNeal should be a starter from day one. His upside isn't as high as some of the younger prospects, and that could cause him to slip a bit in the draft, but expect McNeal to be a very good player in now and in the future. Ratings:[/u] Brian McNeal SG 6'4'' 200 22 B B+ C- B- C B
