Teams will have roller coaster highs and lows as all success will run in cycles. The better franchises will just be at their lows for shorter periods of time. The last GM was a complete idiot and I should have had Jermaine O'Neal/Marcus Camby on this team as well if he didn't fuck it up so bad and I had to fix it.

This article is AMAZING. Best article i have ever seen in any sim league and i have been in leagues for more than 10 years. Our cavs arent as low as i thought they would be either. yay! now hopefully we can win some more playoff games this year. you know whats funny is I really don't think its that amazing, not because of substance etc, but because in reality, if Proboards wasn't such a Bitch to work with when it comes to setting up tables, its really only about an hour article, cause its relatively easy to get a spreadsheet to do the calculations, and inputting the data is quick, its just formatting that takes such a damn long time. Updating this though would not be a big task, just have to copy the statistics cause everything is already set up, so I'll try to keep it updated yearly from now on... the only thing is I want the division and Conference Champion history, cause teams should get credited for those...My yearly draft recap (not so yearly anymore, have grown somewhat tired of doing it, so if someone wants to recap the 1997 draft be my guest)....is more difficult than this Conference champs = the teams in the Finals Divisional champs would be a little more difficult, but the West I believe has been MIN/VAN and SEA for awhile now. East has been CHI with a dash of IND, but the Atlantic is hard to remember. |

I was hoping for regular season best records (conference champs), but yeah., but no big deal, this works, since playoff success is really what matters. I know I have won the last two divisional titles....actually, I have done playoff predicitions every time, so I could check divisional champs that way, top team and second teamwould be division champs.

I traded VAN the pick because I didnt want a new GM to come in without his pick. Obviously they wouldnt have landed the #1 pick unless they had their own pick, but Im pretty sure I wouldve been better off with LJ, ZO and a top 10 pick then with Nique and Pierce. I still edned up elite after I traded that Shaq pick away and couldve been elite for longer had I kept my core together. I could be completely biased but I think I couldve won 3 or 4 straight. |

I doubt Spencer would've ended up with Shaq, but it could've been someone like...Allan Houston. He turned out alright.
