Well if a Bama win will prove they are the best and the SEC is the best conference then I will just let them do the talking.

TCU needs to come to a real conference. If the MWC keeps it up, they could become a real conference Keeps what up? Outside of the top 3, the teams are absolute jokes. Would be last place in every real conference. You have TCU, BYU, and Utah, but that's IT. TCU is obviously the better of the three and has been the most consistent for awhile. It's time they moved to a real conference.

It would be nice to add Boise State and kick out Wazzu, but that won't happen Wazzu needs to go independent for a while...they are going to have a tough time coming back from this

If they win, that will be what, 4 years in a row that a SEC team has won the NC?

Big 12 is geographically logical and Iowa State should easily be replaceable. Boise St. needs to go to a conference too. Stick them in the Pac-10. Boise State can't join the pac-10 I believe due to academics, or not meeting some research requirement, but maybe I am wrong...although playing in a real conference would bring them down to earth...I think it was BYU and Utah would be more likely, but, the Pac 10 has a true champion at the end of the year, its fine the way it is No, there's no reason why Boise St. couldn't join the Pac-10, but financially the Pac-10 would never do it. Boise St. is an outstanding program (kind of) but it a horrible revenue generator. Shit, even the MWC won't take Boise St.

Boise St. has been lobbying to move to a better conference for a long time, but it's just not going to happen.

Yeah, thats correct, but they have been rising slowly Air Force hasn't been terrible....The pac-10 shoulda let Texas join back when Texas wanted to....

If they win, that will be what, 4 years in a row that a SEC team has won the NC? How many times have they beat the pac-10 in that stretch? pac-10 was 5-0 in bowl games last year btw

Broph, the SEC usually wins the most bowl games. And they have 10 teams eligible this year.
How many times did the Pac 10 beat the SEC last year in bowl games?

I thought Pac-10 only offered to Colorado. No way could Texas be in the Pac-10. That'd be some brutal traveling for the conference.
