I have the Jazz pick this year, had you guys somehow worked something out to get this done during the season....it woulda sucked for me, I know that Marty didn't have his pick this year, but, it wouldn't have mattered too much had he made a move at the trade deadline.

Dirk is a beast so I can't say the deal is bad for the Jazz, but the timing is all wrong. With Kemp being a flexibility killer, you should have set yourself up by getting some expiring scrubs with birds. Then you could have signed a 2nd rate guy or two this upcoming FA, bring back those scrubs on large expiring deals on the last two FA days, then do this deal. Now all you have is Kemp (who is a horrible player btw) and Dirk.
