And you're making the assumption that Chip would land NO ONE. Even if he didn't land anyone, he still is the 9th seed AT WORST. Harden sucks, he could probably bring back T-Will but, if Meka retires he would be screwed, then he would have to rely on the MLE, LLE and Vet MIN to pick himself up a PG, C, and an entire bench, I doubt highly that AT worst he would be a 9th best team...and even then with how the East has been that could be good for the 8th or 9th pick Why are we assuming he lands no one in free agency. He can land someone, just like I landed Wright for 6 million, or Pepper for 5 million, or Greg Oden. Landing role players in free agency is not all that difficult. |

i offered Sonics Shabuzz, Nigel, 2 picks for Perry. Yeah.... and I don't like Shabazz that much. Nigel is alright. And the two picks would have sucked. I honestly should ahve asked the Kings what they could ahve given, but knowing marty, I probably wouldn't have gotten around the value of getting my own picks back. BTW, this deal would have been completed earlier, but I have the flu. |

Prince is mad because he realizes he now has my pick in my CY. You may very well make the playoffs this year so it has nothing to do with having your pick in CY. You got raped. Jay got better value than you in this trade. I was getting shit in this deal for your pick, so I held on to it. In fact it benefits ME for you not to have Jones because the west sucks this year and it will suck even more now. |
